Another sappy Hallmark holiday has come and gone with no benefit to me. I am used to not getting flowers or a card, since Don never gets me any of those things. However, I do feel that these are stupid holidays and that it is all for show and a way for Hallmark and flower shops to take advantage of pussy wiped men who will get bitched out if their "sweetie" doesn't get anything for them. So I am okay with not getting spoiled on these romantic couples holidays...I don't know if I would feel the same if I actually received gifts on these sappy holidays, I may actually like them then!

I was very surprised that I did get something. John usually does treat me quite nicely on these holidays, but I didn't think that he remembered this year. I was surprised at home with flowers. I agree that they are stupid Hallmark holidays and a way to make more money, but I do enjoy them.
